1885 Business Directory:
This business directory was originally printed in the main body of The Free Lance newspaper in 1885. This directory "shows the organization of the city, the courts, the churches partially, the several societies, together with the date of their meetings, and also our active business men, individually, as firms."

Census indexes from the 19th-century. Currently only Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania are represented.
Confederate Soldier Burial Index:
A guide to local Confederate soldiers' burials. Currently contains listings from the the Fredericksburg Confederate Cemetery and Fredericksburg Potter's Field.

Pieces of Our Past Oral Histories:
Since 1997, The Historic Fredericksburg Foundation, Inc. has been recording the stories of various members of the community who were knowledgeable about important area events. Some interviewees are well known for their political activism or local celebrity and others have simply been life-long residents -- but all their stories are equally important to a town as rich in history as Fredericksburg.
